Bunch of thanks and congratulation I dedicated for all of you as you made to read my blog to the next page. Here I would like to share some impacts occur due to the case.
Personally, while doing this assignment, I often dreamed of her. It does makes me scared to continue investigated and gather information from variety of sources in order to finished the task given especially when it is midnight. Perhaps, this is because I need to deal with her body's scary snapshots when she was killed since most of the website that relate with Elizabeth Short have the photos of her body posture. After all, I decided to stop continue writing my blog in the midnight.
Of course it is sad when we were losing someone who we loved. The case have made Beth's mother disappears after she was testifying the inquest and the most touching scene is when she sobbed and said to reporters that 'There's nothing you can do. All the publicity in the world won't bring my daughter back'.
Furthermore, this case has lead up to few speculations and theories towards the society itself. Some believe that the case has the intercourse with Cleveland Torso Murders that happened in Cleveland between 1934 and 1938 whereby the victims was cut in half and there were also chemical treatment found in the body as what happen to Elizabeth Short.
The case also inspired some people to create games such as The Minotaur & The Black Dahlia Avenger, books and also film. Moreover, what I can say is, the case has united all the police, investigators, reporters and people to gain information, seeking for clues and evidence together in order to find the killer.
